I might have one kicking around if you're still interested. Let me know and I'll look for it later today.

Got some go fast parts for it, clifford 6=8 intake and will be modifying a carb adapter to slap a q-jet on top, the one that I have is from a 455 olds and is a 73, so it is a little on the large side for what I want (and a non mod-quad, divorced choke)

That is very cool. I love speed parts on stuff like that. Very NICE!

You're right, that BB Olds carb may be a bit much for it.

I am still looking, if you can get some pictures that would be excellent!

Thanks, It is not really cost effective to build a slant, but for what I have in all of these parts, is about what a factory Super Six (2bbl off a 77-80 fmj) setup goes for, and this should give some more umph and hopefully better economy with the quadrajet.

The exhaust manifold that is on the car is warped bad on the #6 runner, like 1/8" pulled from the head, so might as well have some fun.

Picked up a 73 slant head, has hardened valve seats from a big mopar yard down south today to work over and get ready to swap.

I got a 170582054 78 Chevy 350 auto carb with electric choke. Looks like it was rebuilt, and the shafts seem to be tight. let me know if you got interest, I've got a couple others I'd part with like a 77 b.o.p with straight fuel feed, and on for a 454, which I know you don't need, but free advertisement for me.
