Topper, Cap, Shell, Camper, Camper Shell, all the same. I grew up calling them campers whether they were the big overhead ones or just a shell/topper.
I was just wondering if they were since in my area there’s not many squarebodies left I was wondering other areas about how many of these old truck campers are leftJust a dumb curiosity question here... Why does it matter if it's "rare" or not?

I always heard them called a shell or bed shell in Cali. A camper is a slide in self contained RV type with an overhead over the cab.Maybe this is a Canadian thing but we call that a TOPPER, not a camper lol.
Mine was bought new with the truck from local dealer the only problem with it is a missing black window and a broke t handle
