This truck has an aftermarket A/C, but the control unit is missing from the dash. I had one installed in an '80 back in 1995. It is A/C only. Mine had two dials at the top center vent area and a reduced size vent next to the knobs. The clues are the hole at the back of the center dash vent, the bolt on left A/C vent and the Sanden compressor. The right side of the dash has a replacement insert that is different than the factory piece.

Would the step side bed be worth anything? It's got some rust spots looks like but in overall good shape. I would probably swap out for a regular bed. Do you know how much I could get for those pieces if I sold them?

Just a note here, In the side picture it looks as though the cab to bed is bent in a slight u-shape. Since its looks like it was beat just wondering if it was a "jumper". Maybe its just my eye but my 78 doesn't look like that

I guess it depends on who you're talking to, isn't worth anything at all to me, but if there's someone out there who just really wants a long bed step side, they may pay for them. Step side beds go for 600 bucks or so.

Looks like a shorty. Or do I need stronger glasses in my old age?

If it were a long bed I'd remember drooling. That's what I really wanted for Willy

Oh fukin right. But you don't see to many. Then again I like any older step side.just not a huge fan of short beds so there lays my problem and why I have a fleet side.lol

I like long bed fleetsides, the long stepsides just seem right to me, of course I'm partial to shortbeds anyhow, lol.

That push bar looks like one of the Hickey push bars.
