$100 later I own a Edelbrock 2101 intake now.

Is it shiny ?

They are good intakes but be sure and use the felpro 1256 gaskets with the built in restrictors

Not as shiny as I'd like but I'll clean it up and make it look good. Saved me $80 as they are $183 new where I live.

really, Wow. Im not sure what to use to clean those with. I would thinki Brake clean would be the safest bet. I know parts cleaner will turn them brown.

I just wire brush them down and blow them off then spray gray enamel paint. I'll show pics.

You could use that aluminum caliper paint. I sprayed my exhaust manifolds with that and its still on there a few years later.

You could use that aluminum caliper paint. I sprayed my exhaust manifolds with that and its still on there a few years later.

I've had good luck with appliance enamel in the cans.

make sure you start with the inner bolts first and tighten in a criss cross pattern. don't start with the outer bolts.

I have always done

12 8 1 2 5 9

11 7 4 3 6 10


might explain my oil leak coming down over fuel pump from intake....

ha just looked up instructions for my 2101... your pattern is correct... welp going to go buy some new gaskets and redo mine I guess.

It might just be the rtv didn't take to the intake or block. Or lil positive pressure(see pcv)

In increments. 10ft/lbs, 15ft/lbs, and last 25ft/lbs
