Hey. My luck isn't the best so of course when I had a fuel leak it was the short line near the motor. My pretty suburban is now stuck at the shop and I've had zero luck finding a junk car (central California). Part number is 15548991 and 15548993. I've searched and searched and had no luck. Any help keeping me from selling my baby because of a tiny fuel line would be very much appreciated

Assuming its a 1991 like your info says, and the TBI hasnt been removed. Is it one of the two lines you see in the center of the motor towards the rear? Or is is further down that run where they turn rubber?

My understanding is it's a braided flexible line that's almost behind the motor.

This. If its the braided line just make up your own. TBI runs low pressure so splicing in hose and adding clamps is ok.

Buy the fuel injection clamps and fuelinjection hose or some AN style fittings and nylon braided reinforced rubber hose. Do yourself a favor and put a schrader valve in the line so its easy to check fuel pressure.

Brother works as a mechanic.
Says most auto parts stores carry a kit with plastic fuel line and comes with multiple connectors to make custom lines.
Call a quality parts store like napa.
Should have what you need.
