I ruined the yellow truck.

Well it was a good story.
The character development was interesting, I think the audience really enjoys the "wheel and tire options" but the ending sucks.
Theres no drama or anything which pull the audience back in...maybe a simple bonus fix or a tool trick would help provide a satisfying conclusion..

good luck.

Good that You did not have to replace the cam shaft and got it running without a lot of grief.
If the 250 is anything like the 292, the cam gear is pressed onto the shaft and requires a press to install a new gear or, remove/install the old gear.

Yeah, no wiped lifters or junk in the oil pan. How boring. :)

Glad you got it back up and running, with minimal effort.

By the way, I like both the boats in the background. That's where most of my free time / money goes... :)

The big one is a 2001 Chaparel Signiture 300 with 2 Chevy 305's powering it, while the other is a 1999 Mariah Talaria z221 with a 454.

Both great boats, and both run.

The Mariah has a hasn't been on the water in a few years since the interior got destroyed after the cover blew off while in a storage yard.

I plan to put it back on the water this year though.

Nice!
I've got a little Rinker Captiva now. Purchased it last June. It's a 2007, had only 43 hours on it when I bought it. I STOLE the boat from the prev owner because it was super dirty, and needed a few maintenance items. Now it's got a sweet running 4.3L with a Monster Tower on it. We got it up to 54mph last fall on the last family outing. :)

Hope you get both of them wet this year!

The Mariah has only about 230 hours on it while the Chaparel has about 2,000 hours on it.
