Sorry I didn't get back with y'all earlier, I had a family gathering last night. but the main reason is my darn check didn't came in the mail... so we probably can go next saturday... let me know it you are ok with that...

I'm good with that. Not a problem. Had something come up myself, so it all worked out.

Works for me, too.

Retro, do you have all the tools we'll need to get a lower control arm? I'm mostly worried about getting the spindle loose from the lower ball joint. Guess if worse comes to worst, we could just hacksaw the joint since I'll be replacing it.

I sure do. :waytogo: BFH; pickle fork; big pry bar. we might try to find a jack in something to release pressure on the spring so it doesn't maim or kill one of us.

The hardened shaft of a balljoint would be hard to cut with anything less than an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Just take a propane torch and 2# hammer, that'll do it!
