Just finished this up today after way too long.
My problem ended up being a defective unit. I returned it to Performance Online who sent me a replacement, and the new one works perfectly
For anyone in the future, the Performance Online unit has an adjustable rod for the booster. At least in my case, I didn't need to drill out a new hole into the brake pedal like some were suggesting. It lined up perfectly with my existing brake pedal hole. I had to cut down the threaded adjusting rod a bit, but other than that, just used the provided nuts to lock everything together
