Hey gang,
My name is Gabrielle but most call me Gabbie.
I've been addicted to VWs over the past 8 years and decided that it was time for my huge project bus to go...
That night I found this beauty on Facebook, a 75 c20 for $800, clean title and owners manual. Even has the window scraper from the dealership! It has a 350 automatic...stock everything. Runs fantastic, starts right up! Has an exhaust leak, and the brakes are BAD. I lived quite dangerously driving it home.
Upon inspecting it, my fiance and I found a cut driver side rear brake line that was capped off. Friday night we are going to change that line, and bleed the brakes. Also planning on an oil change.
It's a pretty solid truck. The rear tailight out isn't getting any power so that's the next project. Also, any recommendations on tires? The rears at 16.5" and I can't find them anywhere online. The fronts are nearly new. Wouldn't mind getting new wheels.
