Hello guys,

I’m putting together my truck which was a basket case when I bought it, so I’m running into problems where I don’t know how to put it back together because I’m not the guy that took it apart. One issue is the fuel tank hooking up to the filler neck. I bought a formed hose, but the hose doesn’t seem to want to fit on the tank bung properly. The bung is recessed far up underneath the bed, too close to the bottom of the bed boards to fit the rubber hose on without kinking and inevitably rubbing against the bed. There are a few pics attached. Can you guys with short bed stepsides give a general idea of what your filler setup looks like and what I might be missing here? Thank you!
