I don't care for oilless air compressors much. I use the tall verticle and the smaller black horizontal most of the time. Those are both oiled compressors. The tiny red one and the upright DeVibliss which is Ingersol Rand like the big one, are the oilless unit. Oilless units work harder, and fail much sooner IMO. For portability though, oilless is really the way you need to go, so you don't spill your oil out of them, or have the oil at the top instead of in the crankcase while moving them around, or setting at an angle on a roof top, or in the back of truck. My compressor in the roll back runs off the air brake compressor and fills 2 10 gallon tanks. Its good for air ups but not strong enough for air tools.

The mini compressor looks like the one I have from Harbor freight, I can used it to run my 1/4 inch ratchet for doing my oil pan bolts but thats about all its good for, besides airing up car tires.

I had bought a full pallet of those mini compessors. I had like $24 in each one after the freight fee and sold them for $40-$45 each. I kept that one cuz the box looked pretty rough and didn't want to sell it looking like that. It works perfect though.

Got some cheap ass goodies today. Reviews seemed good enough. The price was cheap enough, and I sold a piece of that car audio junk on eBay for $33 today, so I went and got a few things I've been needing for a long time so I can start swaping gears around and getting my trucks ready for axles swaps.

$8.99 with the coupon.

I did finally find my damn scanners. I knew they were around.

OBD 1, which you really don't need. Moreless buying the book. It's just a fancy jumper as far as the tool is concerned.

OBD 2 This one comes in pretty handy also came with a book and CD for your computer.

You'd think anyway. Still missing some specialty trans tools I'd like to get someday, and get the garage organized with my solvent bath tanks and my trans building table that catches and drains all the fluid. It's pretty much a big drain pan.

The pan is supposed to be built into a table. But I trashed that long ago and need to make another one.

Meritline.com has an OBDII bluetooth 'dongle' the I just picked up for $15. It will clear codes/etc, but also the same app (Torque) will allow you to customize a dashboard on an iOS/Android phone showing all kinds of live ****.....A/F, ST trim, LT trim, timing, fuel flow rate, blah, blah, blah....This is for 96-up and irrelevant though.

So pretty much anything that is OBD II . That's not bad at all. I'd imagine there is a cost for the app on the phone though huh?? How much is that?

That's not bad and it's worth it. I'd love someday to convert my squares or at least one to SFI Vortec or LS even better yet. Fuggin funds is all it takes. At this point, I'd like to sell all my squares, find a K20 burb or a K5 with all my wants and just build it.
