Hi, i'm new on here and have a 77 C20.

I can't figure out the dome light. I checked the socket and there is power with a test light. i checked the plug behind the seat and have no power. The dome or cargo light is not working but the floor light works. Any help would be appreciated.

Power stands on one side. Light switch grounds it. Probably a broken wire under the floor mat.

And the dome light wires run through the cargo light switch on the b pillar.
All those lights are + hot all the time and completing the ground through the door switches or headlight switch.
I posted the wiring diagram for those circuits in the electrical forum if you search for it.

Hey everyone I’m in the rebuild stage of my 85 k20 that I had for 20 years now. I’m looking through try to track down a wiring diagram for the interior lights I have a dome light that doesn’t work and never has I want to put a led light in its place and add lighting to the floor I haven’t been able to get the door switches to turn them on and off or get the headlight switch to operate them either. Anybody got some insight on how to do it
