Welcome from New Mexico.
Nice truck. Love CUCVs myself, own the Blazer version. That would've come with a 6.2 Detroit and a TH400 factory, but that's a nice upgrade you have there.
I like that you painted the engine OD green, that looks nice.

Thank you Sir, I also Own a K5 all original. The Truck was converted to a 350 sbc from two previous owner ago and the the guy I bought it from converted it to a 5.3 so I don't feel bad for not having a Diesel anymore and while the 5.3 was a good engine especially with the factory 4.54 gears. this 6.0 makes it even more fun to drive. I am just sick of truck payments and full coverage so I justified it in my mind to go all out on this 35y old truck.

Looks very Clean! I can tell you had it all apart. When I painted mine, my bodyman was cussin every day he was sanding on it. The old CARC paint does not sand well at all and took 3-4 times more sand paper compare to standard automotive paint. Unless you have done one, people don't know. Ever since I bought this green truck, everything else is green as well, my Coffee Cups, Jacket, T-shirts, and more LOL.

Haha, that's funny.

I know how that is, that paint is tough.
Thought it was just me, was thinking the whole time, "damn this is taking for ever".
Got as far as doing everything you can see under the truck, the whole front part of it, and the rear bumper.
Rest of the truck is still green/camo.
