Howdy. My name's Phil.
I just got my '83 K20 a couple days ago; 350 runs strong, but has a metric ton of rust and an eclectic array of other issues.
My intent is to fix her up as a long term project and [some day] put a whole lot of power under the hood. I like the look of a beat up, well used truck, but I want the engine bay and interior to be better than new.
I have hobby level experience in welding [read; grinding], machining, fabrication, and general tinkering, among other hobbies.
I've only began pulling out the old crud and fully assessing just how much I overpaid.
Hoping to learn from those that've fixed these beauties before me and share as I go.
