picked up a nice square body in a trade left it set for awhile up for sale then one day crawled under just to take a closer look....5 minutes later i knew i was going to build it...plans for completing it by may (mothers day weekend) and present it to my wife as a gift) features aluminum headed 462 2 NOS systems th400 with mods coan 3800 stall....so on.....been a fun build to date 8.5 rear 411 gears 4 wheel disc....qa1 pro coil (chevelle) (actually was easy swap once i workd the idea out....chevelle headers quick fuel 950 and 175 pump....few pics of the build

Looks like a bad ass ride in the making. You're a lucky guy to have a wife accepting of gifts like that. My lady just got her Suburban and is super happy, I'm sure yours will be too. Good luck with getting the project done on time.

Body looks to be in good shape for a rust belt truck. Gonna paint it all the firewall color?

Be careful with that. I once bought a 46 GMC and said it was a Christmas present for my wife. When we got divorced, she took the damn thing..... It was ok though. I kept the Nova....
