HELP! what are these wires for!?!

So, after tearing my truck down to the frame, rebuilding the motor and replacing the cab, there are a few wires that I have no idea what they are/ where they plug in. They are under the dash, right below the steering column. Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh, and its an 84 4x4, with A/C and cruise control

The 2nd one is the plug from the cruise control switch in the steering column.

That top one looks like one that plugs into the fuse box. I want to say lower right hand side as your looking at it. BUT I am going by memory as I am at work.

Thanks for the help guys! I should have also said the truck is an automatic. The connector in the top pic is right below the steering column so it won't reach the fuse box

I was going to say judging by the color of the wires in the first pic and looking over some schematics that it would plug into the clutch pedal safety switch or neutral safety switch.

Also, there is a short (3-4") green wire with a orange connector coming through the firewall into the cab directly under the steering column,
can anyone help me with that one?

You have to help out here a bit.

Does it have it's own penetration/grommet at the firewall? Does the grommet/penetration appear to be OEM or aftermarket?

If it does not have it's own penetration - and it transits the FW with another group - where is the grommet?

Are there any components or disconnected leads within the area where it could reach?

Have you even tried to look on the other side of the FW and trace it back to where it originates?

Have you checked to see if it is a hot wire?

And maybe the most important question:

Is there some component in your truck that does not work and that you feel it needs to be connected to?

That is a diagnostic connector for the torque converter lockup. Back in the day they would plug a device in that would check if the tcc system was functioning right such as is it sending a signal to trans etc. Leave it alone
