This bumper came on the truck, I have no idea what it came off of. I noticed that no one else had the same bumper and since I didn't know much about these trucks until now... help me. What do you think it came off of???

It looks like an aftermarket bumper.

hmm, I don't think it is. It doesn't look like any of the ones from LMC or any place else. The cut-out parts are very crude, like someone used a torch or plasma cutter.

Notice my bumper is smooth on the facing and LMC is not.

could still be aftermarket. Local bumper companies usually have a large selection to choose from and the previous owner probably went with the cheapest. LMC wouldn't carry a bumper like that most likely because it's not highly sought after.

There's actually not much selection for aftermarket step bumpers anymore. Those FEY bumpers that LMC offers are about it, and FEY actually used to offer several more styles.

The bumper in question I do believe is aftermarket from years ago, or at least dealer installed. I remember seeing them painted and in chrome or polished stainless.

I say that's a good thing and I'd rock it as is!! :) I kinda like it :) Now, next thing is to fix those exhaust tips. :D

Yeah I don't understand why they had them installed like that. When I get some new ones, I am leaning towards some black ones since there is no chrome on the truck anyway.

That'd look cool :) I've thought about cutting my tips off and just having the exhaust dump after the rear end. black tips would look good on your truck, though.

I do like the bumper except that it doesn't have much surface area to put your foot on to climb up into the bed. Slipped off it many times already.

I'm thinking that looks like one of the old school FEY bumpers from back in the day. I guess what looks odd about it, is most FEY bumpers were chrome and that one isn't. If it's not a FEY, it's at least a wanna be FEY.

It's a cheap universal bumper.

I like it. Wouldn't mind having one for the K10.
