Help me I.D. this grill

This is the exact grill I want for my 81 K-20.
Can someone please help by telling me what year truck this would have been installed on from the factory? And second, where is the best source for a new one that isn't going to break very easily ?

Yup it's 85-87. That's the one my 87 has from the factory.

Technically, it's an 85-88' grill. Crewcabs still used them in 88'.

I have the same grill on my 87'.......in a few days it will be removed and replaced with a billet grill. Maybe you want to make me an offer for mine? Just a thought...


LMC truck has those grills, but they dont come with the emblem, and they are a bit pricey. From what I have heard, they are factory replicas so fit may not be as precise. Also, the center aluminum piece on both sides of the emblem ( painted red in your pic) does not come with the grill either.

Here's a pic i took a few minutes ago. Let me check on shipping to your zip code (pm me with it). The grill is in good shape and its oem. As far as I can tell, all it needs is paint. Once I get my new grill, I should be able to use the same box for shipment. We can go from there as far as price. It just needs a new home.
