I agree with everyone who encourages repairing it.
A brand-new tank is comparatively not nearly as expensive as it was even ten years ago, plus the support components are priced nicely today, even with post-COVID pricing.
I suspect your fuel tank selector valve is also in need of replacement, as the fuel supplied from the tank should only have return going to it.
