I'm a new Square body owner, had it about a year. always wanted one.
it's an 87 r10
had a 4.3l in it that was dying to be changed, *also literally dying.
I have had it about a year and in that time i have swapped in a 350 4bolt and a 4l80e just to get her off on the right foot
I am a former Marine and currently a diesel engineer.
47yrs old and married most of those.
currently owned vehicles are as follows,
1987 R10 (350 4bolt and 4l80e fuel injected from a 94 G30 oil truck)
2001 s10 blazer (D44 & 9in with a 383 lt1 on 35's)
2003 mitsubishi lancer evolution
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Wife's)
many previously owned vehicles. but this square completes a high school bucket list item.
i started searching the web for info and for the most part ended up here.
so i joined. i do lots of custom projects and i intend this pickup to be my daily.
i would be happy to answer any questions or give my opinions as requested (while i sponge information)
