Hey everyone,
I'm going to buy my father in law's truck... I believe its a 1973 GMC C10. I haven't laid eyes on it in a while as he has always kept it in his garage. He has several things tucked away in there and now can't do anything with them. I wanted a pre 1980 car or truck to mess with so it just makes sense.
So this isn't my first square body. I had a 1984 maybe 1985 GMC K10 that was lifted years ago when I went in the Army. I loved that truck except for the worn out 305. I was at a permanent duty station in MD and was getting sent to a long training so my wife wanted to drive it back to Cincinnati. Yep you guessed it my motor went on the trip. Well I sold it to my father in law who had a 350 put into it (what I wanted to do) and then he sold it. Still miss that truck.
I guess that started me on GMCs too. I have a '14 I drive currently. Anyway I am looking forward to messing again with a square body truck. Except it's 2wd and I am not crazy about the color I remember it being. (light blue and white I think) I'll post pics as soon as I get some. Should be a really nice truck being its whole life has been sitting in a garage.
