Glad I found a decent truck forum that people still engage with. Said goodbye to FB awhile back, but I missed the squarebody groups.
I've had my 84 Custom Deluxe for about 20 years now. I have done a lot of upgrades over the years, and many more to come. I don't know everything about these trucks, but I do know a lot from working on mine over the years. Planning on a vortec headed 383 and lower gearset to start with.

350 engine (Goodwrench crate)
TH400 transmission
3:08 rear gear with Eaton Positrac unit
4/6-ish drop with 15x8 and 15x7 rallies
