Heater core repair-not replacement-any ideas that work?

Hey guys need some advice-not in the mood to tear down to get to a heater core that has a very small leak-I just want to flush it out and put some kind of sealer in it to seal a small leak-now I know people will not like this idea but someone must have some good experience out there in doing this-so any info helps-please fellas be positive and gentle...............................:cool:

All that crud floats around and eventually plugs your block passages and radiator. It will stop or slow it for awhile.

The only way to do it is replace the core. Not the easiest to do but pretty cheap.

Ground black pepper a tablespoon full is all that is needed! ran my "78" with this fix for 3 years till I could finally afford a new radiator. It stopped all weeping and leaks, checked level once a week and never needed to add to it during the 3 year period.

replacement heater cores are $23 to under $50. I would bypass it and save up for a core and hose clamps.
