No retro rollers, if it ***** on itself it will get either the 454 if I quit looking at crew cabs or s vortec 350 and a for sale sign. Not all of them then again what’s piece of mind and or another complete rebuild gonna cost?
ZDDP is your friend or oil with a good zinc package. Rotella for instance or if you can get Amsoil locally. No retro rollers, if it ***** on itself it will get either the 454 if I quit looking at crew cabs or s vortec 350 and a for sale sign.

You have a roller cam lolNo piece of mind here, not for the price of an entire engine lol. Good oil and send it.

I take it the pick up was just hanging out at the bottom. Once you get your new one to the proper clearance put a tack weld on it so it doesn’t fall off.And it just keeps going. You must be registered for see images attach

Yeah found it there and the groove for front of oil pan is pulling away from the timing cover.I take it the pick up was just hanging out at the bottom. Once you get your new one to the proper clearance put a tack weld on it so it doesn’t fall off.
Sometimes the perceived shortest route is the longest. Unless your a monkey climbing around on these things wears you out. Once your up in and realize you forgot something of drop a wrench and have to crawl out and back up in....should have pulled the engine to do this, would have been alot easier and so much closer jsut swapping a different engine in.
