Well whenever I would do it would probably beef up the wiring to have Hids what is needed for that.

So what year did GM develop the "headlights on" reminder? The buzzer in my '89 sounds off if you open the door with the headlights or parking lamps lit.

My 85 silverado used to have it before I ripped it out lol

I'm gonna have to see if mine has a buzzer somewhere and if I can hook it up, it doesn't make any sound right now. I'm so used to automatic headlights I worry that one day I'm forget and kill the battery.
