Well, after cleaning up my grounds and headlight wiring. I'm still getting the on and off just sitting in the drive way. I checked batt voltage with them on and bits at 14.5 volts.

Idk wiring is one of my weaker skills. Only because diagnosis is a bitch. Lol

It's as if something is cycling them off and on.
Bulbs pulling too much current overheating the switch?

Idk because batt voltage is 14.5 with lights on at idle. New light switch? I'm stumped. Lol

If you consistently get a driveabilty problem at 190-200 I'd be looking at my thermo vacuum switches checking for correct hose routing to and from.Very possibly when the switch opens you now have a vacuum leak, or too much timing, or an egr valve being opened by manifold vacuum etc.

I became concerned at the steering column.
As a matter of fact?
Doublin down on steering column.

:deal:

I clicked on this thread because I want a new headlight switch. Wtf?

Try wiggling the steering wheel.

Ya.
Wiggle it.

Just a little bit .;)

Make certain to manipulate any TILT features.

Nah I had to buy another backing plate for the missing light of the C20 and the lens has a broken part of the corner.
I think it'll still seal though - I got new gaskets some time back.

Next week we'll see.

If I had a dollar for every.time. I heard that!

local favorite. no one i met actually thinks it tastes great, just ok or bad.

to be a true wisconsinite, one must baptise in spotted cow by new glarus on the eve of cow day.

See, I cant compare beer like most you guys. Some reason, when I drink pisswater coors and compare to pisswater busch, it all just tastes like piss water so what is the point and how is it enjoyable?

Im a liquor girl at heart, I havent drank since new years but i can tell you rn i am out drinking most guys at pure BAC and in the proces its by shots of tequila.

:headbang: JOSE CUERVO YOU ARE A FRIEND OF MINE

I LIKE TO DRINK YOU WITH A LITTLE SALT AND LIME :headbang:

EVERYTIME WE GET TOGETHER WE SURE HAVE A GOOD TIME :pedobear:

by being soemone who fixes your own vehicles, you save a lot of money that you can use for said purpose. obviously it doesnt make a connection but charlie sheen said snort lines and **** dimes, and you know? Hes right. Sure, skip the coke and save some money, but a warm hole is a warm hole and 50 dollars goes a long way to make someone attractive if you are desperate. they say girls without teeth make an interesting experience for men.

as a woman with teeth, i wouldnt know. or care to find out.

You know what you must do.

82, Might have to start a new thread about your headlights to get more help. Current (no pun intneded) crowd appears to have run out of attention span.

Did you say you have a new headlight switch or thinking about it? That's where I'd start. Idk the best way to diagnose, other than if you hot wire wires to the headlights (with a fuse) and they don't go off, its probably the switch.
Pull the switch and see if it gets hot and cuts out?

Sounds more "regular" than "random" like a short would be. Weak switch, IMO. I recall replacing them on these trucks 30 years ago, the're not bourbon, so doubt they get better with age!

Yeah I'm gonna get a new switch. Sure won't hurt. Got new lights and plugs on order at Napa. Might as well add a switch. Lol
