Aren't there LED alternatives that use the stock plugs that are plug and play? I'm not disagreeing about the quality of the relay kits, actually seems like a cool set up. I like the modernization of components in these older vehicles. I was just curious if there was another option.

There are, and some one has done it, but... even as a luxury tech and with tech buddies, we arent fans of LED head lights. Someone also brought up light pattern and it being comparable to HID's. The pattern is spread and maybe blinding to others on the road ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The more I'm reading, the more I'm liking the 9006 upgrades. I have 9006s on my Honda and they have a great light pattern. As I dig deeper, I'm seeing more of what you're saying... Are there LED alternatives, yeah, are they the best option, eh probably not.

If you use LEDs you will not need relays, but they're still a good idea.
The conversion LEDs, like with an H4 base, are hit and miss with quality and also the reflectors in the light case itself.

We were just talking about this a few weeks back on another thread.
We need to use our search button more often...

Yeah, I'm not an expert on aftermarket lighting so I probably could have done a quick search before bringing it up. I just wanted to throw another option in the ring for the OP, as I saw he only had halogen lights. I definitely appreciate the info on the LED lights. Definitely helps knowing there's another thread to reference as well.

I have a 2014 Durango and it has bi-halogen 9012's and they are balls bright. If you go that way, definitely do the 9012 mod! This is what I plan on doing.
