Interesting. I've seen most people exchange the tilt column for a non tilt because of all the issues they sometimes tend to have.

For a squarebody, I don't need the tilt I don't guess... I'm but 6 foot 5. No issues there.

Now in something small like my 1 ton s10 blazer , tilt is a necessity. Lol lol
I'd like to see you get in mine lol. I'm not big and I can barely get my legs under my wheel when I get in. I've been wanting to switch mine over to tilt.

Some of it depends on how much foam and spring is left in the seat. Some guys will get the foam replaced, and it sits them up way higher and closer to the steering wheel than they were before.

Whats the point of tilt column? Is it if youre really big..? I Guess mine sits just fine, I think
My legs are long and if the wheel isn't tilted up, it is a real PIA to get out of the truck. I do notice that the Steering wheel is closer to me than in my old non-tilt truck.

It looks and works great. Gives my arms more room to stretch out and hold the wheel, and makes it easier to get in and out without whacking a knee

I put a tilt column in my 82. Now if some company would just get with it and make reproductions of the shifter parts to go with the 700-R4. The column was supposed to be from a truck that had a 4 speed but nope, from a 3 speed.

Are you just talking about the gear selector in the dash, or something else?
