Just a little Friday wheel porn for you guys. Just got the new wheels on the other day. They're used 285/75/16 tires on f*rd steel rims I had powder coated black. Put beauty rings on them and have three chrome 90's center caps (still need to find one more then cut a hole in the front ones for the hubs to stick thru). Only have the back ones on currently.

First couple pics is the current setup, second-to-last is what I was using (wheels I had laying around until I found some tires) and the last pic is what I started with with this project... it's came along way even though the body doesn't look like I've done much haha!!

Good progress. Safety and mechanical improvements first, then worry about how she looks.

Agreed. That's been the plan. About to the point where the looks are what's next.

Looks like big progress... you went from bedless to a nice solid bed!

Dig the wheels!

Got one front cap hole cut out yesterday. Will hopefully get the other side done soon too.

That's what I was going for. This was a 6 lug truck but I decided to just do 8 lug axles since the rear had blown twice...gov-bomb. I like the rally wheels but obviously can't do them in 8 lug. Actually, I was thinking about putting those 90s Dodge 8 lug rims on that kind of also look like rally wheels but I wanted the wheels to have some offset so I decided to go with some ford rims I already had.
