I've heard these things called Saddle blanket, Indian Blanket, Baja Blanket, Mexican Blanket, and Aztec Blanket seat covers. I eventually plan on having both front bucket seats and the rear bench seat reupholstered in black leather with a strip of some weird, exotic leather running down the middle like Ostrich or Gator skin, but until then, I'd like a set of 3 of these things just to get me by while I work on other, more important issues I have with my vehicle.

Anyway, the best option I have been able to find so far is "Seat Cover Man dot com". The ones they sell there claim to be "custom made" for the mini-bench rear and high back, one-piece buckets. The only issue I have with these is that I don't really like the pattern that much.

They also offer a cotton seat cover that you can get with these SUPER CHEESY graphics printed on them that look like something out of a cocaine-fueled 80's nightmare. If I can't get a proper set of "blanket" covers, I might actually get a set of these purely for the laugh factor. Right now I have narrowed it down to "Coke Binge Tiger", "Acid-Trip Unicorn", and "Porno Flick Indian Princess".

A matching pair of these on some bucket seat covers is definitely a "panty dropper" option, but I would rather forego this literal running joke and find a nice set of blanket covers to use until I get around to a reupholster job.

Does anyone know a source for some quality blanket covers? Many thanks in advance.

Lmc has saddle blanket types with the pockets in the front. They aren't the greatest quality but not bad, only for benches though.

Ebay or amazon. Called mexican serape they aren't covers but with some ingenuity, can be made into seat covers. Tip: for bench seats I recommend 2 blankets . one for top cushion and one for bottom. B62upholstery.com also has some sweet designs . bit pricey but quality and craftsmanship is there

Here is a set of covers I picked up for my buckets awhile back. Good quality with nice padding and great non-chessy graphics. Look awesome in truck! Got them off Flea bay, sellers ID was leaderaccessories.

Ive heard them called Falsa blankets. I bought one for my s10 farm truck to protect the seat from dirt and dog paws. Its a bench seat and I used bed sheet clips, or sofa cover clips (whatever you want to call them) to take up the slack from behind and under. Its an off road only vehicle so I didnt cut seat beat holes but it would take much more effort. I would imagine you can get 2 smaller ones for the front buckets and attach them the same way.

Hell if you're handy with a thread an needle you can probably sew the bucket seat blankets into a slip on cover for the seat back.
