Hey everyone, 1999 k1500 suburban, had been sitting since 19. wipers were doing wonky things and so I replaced the pulse board and it'd acting better but has trouble going to rest. If I fiddle with it just right I can get them to park but once I use them again there back to resting up high. I did not remove the motor so I know I didn't mess with linkage geometry. Any ideas on how to reset motor? Or is there a problem inside the motor?

I know these are bad about the solder joints coming undone....I suspect Mr crew cab is beginning to do this. Do you have new wiper blades on it, those will help.

I had a pair of new blades for the Burb, to go on it after I got the windshield replaced. But didn't get them on it, and I remembered where I'd put them in the shop, so I swapped them out on the crew cab(same size, 18") and it doesn't do this as bad now. Also helps if the window is wetter; I need to clean and re-RainX the windows in the crew cab. It's just so bloody hot, and the glass is difficult to clean when it's so warm that the cleaner steams off....

unless something is loose in the linkage, it is likely a park switch problem. not sure how they are set up on that style. but I bet it is somehow integral to the motor.

The old grease was thick like malasas in January lol cleaned it like In rh picture and put new grease on it and plugged it in again. Better but still stopped short and then correct itself each time. I took it open again and realized that the dark spot was where it was prematurely stopping. If you look closely you can see where in the rh picture. Cleaned it good and it's fixed! Stopping correctly like it should now.
