So why would I have to switch out the front axle just cause I switch out the gears? I’ll be switching both front and rear to match.
correct front and rear gear ratios have to match .

Okay. I can do the work myself. Just was curious on what everyone thought about on the gearing. Everyone that gave me supportive help, I appreciate it. I think I’m going to go with the 3.73’s.

What work can you do yourself? Installing gears requires a torque to feel that you can learn from a book to set the preload on the crush sleeve specific tools for measurements. Getting this incorrect will cause problems and can damage the parts you installed costing you more money. If you are talking about swapping the axles like I did it is pretty straight forward.

I can do all of it myself. I’ve done a few. I’ll have help that originally done the first gear swap in it so this will be an easy job.
