Gear and tire height spreadsheet calc.

So I made a spreadsheet that calculates displacement, compression, and piston speed and posted it under engines and performance. I then decided to make one for gearing, tire height, trans ratio, and speed and this is it. Just choose what you want to solve for, enter in your data and it'll give you the number. Worth noting that for auto trans without a locking torque converter this will be abit off since the torque converter always slips a little.

Should be able to use it from this link and download it if you chose. Will work in excel and Google sheets.

It has several options for downloading, I saved it as .ods and it works great.

Should I add in a slot for transfer case gearing? I'm a 2wd guy myself so I never really think of transfer cases. Could also double for those curious about gear vendors ratios too.

Back before the internet I did all of this by calculator from a formula I got from 4-wheeler magazine. I still have a few pages of different variations for Mean Green which can now be used for Crusty Biscuit, and also a sheet for my Cherokee. It came with 3.55 gears and tiny tires, so I got bigger tires and wanted to get the cruising rpm's back to what it came from the factory and 3.73's got me there.
