or I did mine in AutoMeter gauges. The three and a half inch speedo and tach fit perfect.

350 but doing an LS swap
I started messing around with the stock guage clusters and wasn’t having much luck, and the used clusters were expensive even on ebay.
I bit the bullet and installed a Dakota Digital cluster with 160mph speedo and 8k tach that will be a noce touch when the LS swap is done...not necessarily the 160 speedo!

I just noticed the pull handles on the gauge set, easy access, cool!

Some good lookin gauges on here. I did the suburban gauges. But with the LS engine I’m maxed out on the speedo, driving down the freeway.

These newer style Dakota Digital gauges are on my Christmas list this year. I really like how much more they look like the factory gauges than most of the other aftermarket gauge sets. They’re pricey though. Last I checked they were about $1300 at summit.

Maybe Santa will oblige

I don’t see what is a pull out handle. but I am curious why maintain the amp gauge?

The pull out handles are not on the the OP's (Rusty's) post. They are on @Raider L (William's) post.

1974 trucks were built with an amp gauge. No reason not to have it since it's already wired for it. Then add the volt meter too.

Installed.
Fully functional.
We had to change the oil pressure sender to a later model electric - the gauge in the tach reads engine oil pressure correctly and the oil gauge in the top corner is intended for trans temp one day. Place holdin.
Camaro fuel gauge replaced the parking brake light where it oughta be.
Again, functional.

I'll work on a better picture later as the sun sets or something.
I think that's how it went....I can't turn it on right now but clearly recall using a 1982 Camaro oil pressure sender because I had to go buy a new one.

The new gauge face trim panel came out of Noble, Oklahoma @ Cheyenne Pick-Up Parts.
Pretty dope huh? Give em old boys a call why don't ya!

junkyard searching shopping is the best way to find gas motor style old gm tachometers, old buses and some big grain trucks with gas motors, and also motor homes and many different older cars and etc,,
