Gasket

I’m looking to replace the gaskets on the transmission pan and oil pan. Should I just go ahead and get new pans also or should replacing the gasket be fine ?

New gaskets will be fine, long as You flatten out around the bolt holes.

I usually use a deep well socket a little larger than what the foot print is of the bolt head on the oil pan or rocker arm covers, timing chain cover and clamp that socket in a vice. Set the pan on the socket onto the area of the bolt hole and tap them back flat again.
A piece of flat bar steel or even a large diameter pinch will work, round bar stock, rebar, anything with a nice flat edge to it.
You just want to get them bolt holes back to a flat state again or else the gasket will leak as bad as before.
