The bumper is not an original. It was either made by someone or it’s an aftermarket. It has a place to mount a winch

That's a really nice optioned truck! D60 would have been the stock axle in a K30. Unfortunately, that 14B started life as a Gov-bomb... hopefully that has been swapped out at some point. If not, I'd stay away from burnouts on pavement.

Wow, looks like a nice find!
Looks pretty straight and rust free!
4.56s...wow, well it’ll pull stumps and climb trees...

It does have some rust. The driver side rocker is ate up pretty good and there are a few spots on fenders and quarter panels. Not too bad for 44 yr old ride

@CWBlack71,
Reading the build codes is interesting. Whoever ordered it like that knew what he wanted, and Chevy had it all. " Locking differ.", and what is that "4000 watt heavy duty Delco..."something. What is that? Is that still in the truck? "rear axle 4.56 gears", Man! That truck is all you'd need to start with to make one that is already decked out to do some hauling through the woods.

And welcome from Louisiana!

It’s a reference to an upgraded battery from factory , HD, and the name of the OE battery (Delco Freedom Battery. ) had a sight glass and gm thought it was pretty tough ****

Spent a couple of days in Del Rio, doing the Judge Roy Bean tour. Had a great steak at the restaurant North of town.
Lots of good folks here with a ton of knowledge. You have chosen wisely. Now let's see some photos of your ride in your driveway. :driver::grd:

@AuroraGirl thanks for the reference image. I haven't seen one of those in years. I remember back in the day all the question about those batteries, and scrutiny. Never needs water?!?! How can that be?!?!?! It was all the talk.
