Hey everyone, I have a 1987 Chevy V10 5.7L and the fuel pump appears to have gone bad. I ordered a new one and had a local mechanic try to install it but when he dropped the tank the bad pump didn't match the one I had bought. The one I had bought has four sending units and the bad pump currently on the fuel tank only has 3 sending units. Every pump I look up online for a 1987 V10 has 4 sending units. Clearly I have the wrong part but I dont know what pump I need. I bought the truck about 2 years ago used and dont know the complete history of it but I was told it had been "restored" at a Chevrolet dealership before being resold to the guy I bought it from. Attached is a picture of my old pump and the new pump and of the truck. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
