Fuel Pump Install

Just found out that my fuel pump went out so I will be replacing that this weekend. My question is it easier to drop the tank or to just pull the bed? I have dual tanks and one has the bad fuel pump and the other has been having troubles with the sending unit so I will be working on both of them. one tank is full and the other has just under 3/4 tank. Any Suggestions?

unbolt and lower the tank by taking off the 4 bolts that hold the strap to the frame. Don't take off the one bolt that holds the strap around the gas tank. Much easier this way. Go buy a cheapo hand siphon pump and get that gasoline out of there first.
