Front shock bolt torque

Im sure it’s here somewhere, but I’m looking for top and bottom bolt torque values?
I don’t seem to have luck with”search”.......lol

Engines and transmissions, book specs are best. For other general fasteners a torque chart is very handy. This chart is listed in Ft/Lbs. Most automotive fasteners are either grade 5 or grade 8.

I have grade 8 bolts for the bottom , and the top bolts seem to be grade 5 ......but there is a recommended torque for the application and I can’t even find it on the Monroe site .

This is when a chart is needed. What size are the lower bolts, 1/2"? 110 ft/lbs. Every old GM repair manual had a torque chart in the back.

1/2" x 3 1/2 on top and bottom.
Torque until your lock washers are flat, plus a smidge more.

run them bitches down and give em a couple, possibly 3-4 ugga duggas with your freedom air pistol and call it good. or reference the above chart for proper specs.

Impact tight. Use locknuts for the just in case.

And after torquing to spec, you may very well be the first person to ever use a torque wrench on a shock fastener.
