May have to mod your exhaust too...T case may want to occupy some of that space, but you have an advantage since the 400 frame is wider.

i am not sure the front and rear 10 bolt carriers are the same or not

but i do know a front carrier will work in the rear

i was in salt lake city my mom had to go to the hospital. a side bearing on my 88 sub rear 10 bolt let go and it chewed up the carrier.

so in the hospital parking lot i stripped down both front and rear 10 bolts and swapped the front carrier to the rear and drove home that was 3 years ago and it is still running like that.

the front(now rear) carrier in my 88 sub looked like a brand new one probably spent very litlle time locked in.

bucket ya i probably have at least 1 good 3.73 and carrier for a 10 bolt.

Sorry, I was in a hurry last night. Swims this is the truck I was PM'ing you about yesterday. I know it is not SAS. Did a swap onto a 7387 frame. Uses it for mud racing. Just some motivation for ya.
