Looking for some help/advice. I need to replace the front lower air deflector (below front bumper). I see on LMC truck that they offer a "taller" version but it is out of stock. Does anyone else offer the taller version 5 1/2 vs the 4" ?
I think the taller version would be good to get if I can find it somewhere
thanks

Can't answer availablity question but do you know the taller version is for the 4WD versions and the shorter is for the 2WD.
I bought the taller version for my 2WD and it looks a little out of place but I'm trying to see if it helps gas mileage.

The taller version is for 4wds. IMHO, they look goofy on a 2wd truck. I've got the regular 4" version on my '85. Buy the one from LMC, the others are too flimsy

Back when I was running my '84 C10 as a daily driver and recording mpg on every single tank, I added a tall type air dam since my truck was missing the original short one. The hope was a little more mpg, but there was zero improvement afterwards. That's with city, highway and everything in between. 2.56 gear and no overdrive.

I'd say just run whatever style you think looks best. Or not at all if you prefer that look.
