Is a 6 inch rim the widest? Or is it probably okay 6-8? The 2 are prob 6 but the one maybe us 7 or 8
Great to hear that man! Im from maine as well and i dig the look of that ride. 203s arent the best t case ever but same all of the 3/4 tons ive had had 205s, i think in the later 70s they started going to 203s on some trannys.Since I have no problem sharing my screw ups….here ya go
I thought all along I had a 205 transfer case in this truck, couldn’t imagine any thing else in it being a 3/4 ton 4X4, I’v had a few over the years and all 3/4 tons were 205’s that I owned.
well this fella has a 203 in it and the hubs will not work without modifying the transfer case….so, I screwed up. Made the drive up to Maine no problem just not the way I had planned. Gonna pull the hubs off and put it back together as original.

V8 with automatic trucks generally got a 203. You can leave those locking hubs in place though, just by shifting the t-case to HI LOC. The front shaft will still spin of course, but it will save some (but not much) wear on your front tires and axle joints because they won't be under power.
