So ive come to realize that alot of you square guys love bed caps.... i personally dont but hey . So anyway my dad grabbed this from a local for free... many many years ago, just had to pick it up. So him and I went and lifted it on to the truck... btw, heavy as an elephant! But the thing i noticed is its for a stepper and it actually comes out over the bed and covers the fenders, ive never seen another like it. Has any one in gmsb land? And its all fiberglass.

I haven't seen one like that before. I wonder if someone modified a fleetside one to work? It looks cool though. Here are a few caps on mine. I sold the first one and I'm keeping this other one.

There is always the soft top option- unless security is your thing. I can fold it down against the cab in 5 minutes. Waterproof. And will flex with the bed off road.

I think the original one posted is a fleetside sitting on some kind of tapered base.

All the stepper one's I've seen have a kickout to match the width of the cab, but otherwise match the width of the bed.

Also, that fiberglass type didn't become common until the 90's.

Totally un related to this thread but my girlfriend was scrollin though a square body page on her instagram and i stopped her to look at one in particular.... IT WAS YOURS! Lol i was like hey that guys on my forum lol cool to see a members square elsewhere. The grille and wheels and just a little part of the cap gave it away.

I've got something like that. Maybe some of you have seen it posted on Facebook square sites in a few posts. Was installed at the Chevy dealer when it was brand new. El Rancho is the name brand (called Ranch now) out of Indiana.
