A matter of opinion grasshopper...lol, I had two 80's, one had round lights the other square. I like the 80. I cringed a little when the 81 debuted. Then they grew on me. That tailgate on your truck Ludlow is a 81-87.
I think round would look better but i just cant like the 79 and 80 headlight bezel. Too bulky and intrusive. Its like 2 swollen eyes to me.

Well Big Steve got a bath in the rain yesterday...too excited to wait for a sunny day. My wife just shook her head. Over the last couple weeks....dropped gas tank and cleaned, new carb, shocks, brake lines, brakes, calipers, fuel pump, belts, distributor/wires/plugs, tires and a slew of other small stuff. Note: All the work was done by a mechanic. I don't trust myself enough to work on the truck just yet. Took him down the road after bath and man let me tell you...cried like a baby! However, I believe ol' Big Steve has a nasty exhaust leak. After 5 miles I had to stop and roll both windows down because the fumes were terrible. Smelled like I was dipped into a gas can. Is this something a non-mechanic like myself repair or should I take him to a shop. Cookie jar is empty after the expense of bringing him back to life after 7 yrs.
