I have had luck with driving the blade of an old chisel under the bolt head to put upward tension on the threads. Then turn the bolt slowly with a wrench and the threads may catch and start to thread out. It’s easier than crawling around under the truck in bad weather.

Thanks Bruce. I hadn’t thought of that. Definitely smarter, not harder. I am going to give it a whirl today.

I like that. My old 90 burb was the same colors, just flipped.

Well maybe, your light blue looks more fresh than my old trucks blue.

I am the 2.5th owner. First owner had it for 34yrs. Hence the name uncle buck. His name was buck; had done a ton of eccentric electrical updates; most notably the conversion to a single headlight grill setup. I have probably pulled 30lbs of extra wires out of it from lights, CB radio, alarms, etc etc. additionally...I guess in 1991 he hit a deer causing a few bumps on the drivers side fender and door (hence buck as well). The 2nd owner only had it for about 7-8 months...lowered it polished up the paint. There is MINIMAL rust all over the truck so I am guessing it was covered for some period of time. It is the original paint, as you can see from the hood patina, just has a lot of shine left to it after the buffing. Thanks!

Welcome! Nice burb!

Is there enough bolt sticking through were you could have someone press up on the bolt as you turn it from the top?.
Or wedge a flat blade screwdriver under the bolt head, prying up while turning the bolt. One of these methods will work.

Welcome from the land of rust!

That's a nice looking 'burb! Too bad you're not closer, I'd love to get my hands on some of those blue interior parts
