Here is what I have done so far. With cut springs and second spring removed. Homemade white walls.

How did you make the whitewall? Was it a white lettered tire that you ground off some of the blackwall?

that'd be my guess and it's very dangerous to do so.

personally I hate white walls, love white letters, and the truck looks pretty good. only thing I dislike is the front white walls, rest looks good.

Yup just rubs lots of curbs and you get white walls. I like RWL, but not a big fan of White Walls, unless it's specific to a vehicle, like some 40's and 50's cars and trucks.

They seem to be gaining in popularity with the lowered truck crowd, especially the mini-truck crowd.

That's really to bad. :yucky:

I do like the stance of this truck for a street/strip truck though. Some Centerline Rivets, or Weld Wheels and some RWL tires, it would look impressive.

It's not to low, but yet low enough to have some aero advantage and lower COG to help in hookin it up.

Some don't know, but 8 of 10 drag races are won at the tree. It's much better to start out front and stay out front that it is to chase someone down.

But, Chase'n em' down is fun too. Kinda shows you know how to build your stuff for the whole track. Some guys build for the first 1/8 mile then they're outta motor half track and lose their ass.

My cousin has a 49 Ford and is running old school white walls. Looks good on rides of that vintage IMO but anything 60's and newer is meh...

Yep. Year model correct. I'd run white walls on a 49 too with moon caps.

Looks like a pretty solid truck. I don't hate whitewall's, but they're not my favorite either.

I understand how people feel about whitewalls. I just wanted to try if out since I am going to have to get some new tires soon. I am not crazy about the look either. Looks good lowered.

Some raised while letters will look great though.
