They are part of the inner fenders. Not removable other than by rust.

I think that's the way I'm gonna have go. Getting him done by new year's is going to be a challenge lol. Do you have any pictures of yours so I have an idea of where to start?

I basically traced the shape to get the outline and then cut a piece of flatstock to size.

I then mounted it in position and pounded it a bit to give it the 3D shape.
