Only thing I found for those wire colors is water in the fuel like stated before.

If the light doesn't go out, that's because it is a high gas price warning light. They've been stuck on since 1973
Most probably true..............

All spots are filled for bulbs on gauges

I would suggest getting a colored wiring diagram. Helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! with refurb and tracing some issues. I like the color charts because the black and white ones make my eyes go crazy

I looked this up on a wiring diagram and...yellow with pink/black is for a Water In Fuel warning light. That sounds like something for a 6.2 Diesel to me.
On a second diagram it is for a Check Engine light.

Redfish seems to be on the money.
OP, you should short your A and B terminals on the ALDL and watch that bulb flash, see what codes you have

This ever get an answer? I'm doing mine('84) and think it's the seatbelt indicator, it went out after startup.
