What parts do I need to connect my 5.3L to the frame of my truck? I bought the dirty dingo engine mount adapters but the mounts that came out of the truck look nothing like the mounts that are sold at the auto parts store. Should I be bolting up to the 3 holes or slots?

The slotted holes are the factory mount holes. See my pic below. Usually engine mount adapters like the dirty dingos are used in conjunction with the original style motor mounts although it would seem like that company would have some installation pics as reference for you.

I'm asking what the original engine mount looks like. The truck started life with the 6.2L diesel, I think it had a 4.3L in it at what point, and it has the 350 SBC when I got it. The mounts I showed do not look like every mount I come across.

My question is does either piece of the hinged piece I have get reused? Do I need to buy the mounts below? Does the dirty dingo mount bolt straight to the mount below?

It's my understanding that the Dingo adapter bolt to the engine and you use the isolation mounts ( your lower picture) for your oem engine/chassis

Yes, the bottom pic, "clamshell" goes on the frame. Then the ls dingo motor mount goes on top of it.
Then the long bolt goes through both on each side.
