Folks:

I have a 1979 GMC K15 and I need a replacement engine. I can't seem to find a basic engine anywhere. Any advice?

I would also say Jasper or ATK. Not sure if you can buy direct from Jasper or if you have to go through a dealer.

Does GM performance parts still offer the first gen small blocks? You use to be able to get one for like $1600 I thought. This was not that many years ago I'm sure it had gone up to like 2000 but just as recent as a few years ago I thought I saw them advertised.

Put a center bolt one piece rear main 350 in my dads truck last summer from Jegs. Been going strong so far. Less than $2k too.

Ben.
